The game icon doesnt appear very good when you turn off walpaper and use bright color.

Yeah I noticed that after I had posted it. I fixed the Game icon but I think it would be a waste to post the updated version of the same theme

im trying to learn how to make themes my self, was wondering if adobe photoshop could be used to make images? and how do i save in the .pft format?? any help would be most appreciated

Thanks, and yeah she is huh?

Yeah, adobe photoshop can be used to make the images, you may have to mess with the settings to get the image in the right format but it can be done. It is easier to use adobe fireworks but it doesn't really matter

To get the theme into PTF format you have to use the PSP Theme Converter which can be downloaded from the Playstation website

I am glad to finally hear someone ask how to make a theme rather than just request one to be made for them - kudos

It pisses me off when people vote down good layouts to make theirs be part of the top 10

Aside from that people need to learn how to make their own themes, I wouldn't mind helping someone if they asked

If you want a customized volume bar you need to downgrade your psp

I used Paint.net to make most of the graphics, but you'll need a program like Macromedia Fireworks or adove photoshop for the icons. Then once all the images are made just use the theme creator to put the images where they belong

i have made the icons and everything i need but everytime i upload the icons and background onto the theme maker it freezes and stops responding.... any ideas how i can get round this problem victor. thanks

**btw gimp can save in jpeg and gim and other formats that fit the theme maker.

You need to mess with the filters (index transparency, alpha transparency etc)

This is the way I do it

(open the link in a new window - it should be a picture tutorial of how to make transparent images for the psp)
